Da exemplum ein Neutrum ist, bezieht sich id darauf. Ginge es um ein Haus (dŏmus ) oder ein Schiff (nāvis) —  je ein Femininum, müsste es ea brevi tempore peracta erit heißen; bei einem Gesangsvortrag (rĕlātus — Maskulinum — 'carmĭnŭm) wäre es is brevi tempore peractus erit.

Das sich abstrakt auf bestimmte Handlungen oder Vorgänge beziehende es wie im Deutschen kennt das Lateinische nicht.
